The Company Cars of SCG

1978 Pontiac Grand Prix - served company car duty for a couple of years, then purchased as CJG's daily driver. It was also after this that the bank took a hiatus from providing company cars, and SCG got the Triumph TR7 as a commuter.

Oldsmobile Toronado (in background above) This car was in for service (oil change or something minor) at Groth Brothers Olsmobile in Livermore, and the dealership called and said "Well the oil is changed, but we've had a little accident and need to keep your Toronado for a few days." Apparently, the car was running with the drivers door open on the lift in the air, and it slipped into reverse. It then backed off the lift, and drove around the shop in reverse, hitting several cars and ripping the drivers door off of the car as it hit other cars and the side of the shop. It was never quite right after that.

Olds 98 FE3 - this was the Toronado replacement

Upper Left corner - Supercharged Thunderbird - Guy with 81 Corvette is the new owner picking it up - MGTC also in background. The T-bird was used as a tow-vehicle for the Super 7 autocrosser....

Ford Explorer also did duty as tow vehicle

Ford Bronco - also did duty pulling the enclosed 20' trailer
