Things got a bit dirty in the engine compartment during the bodywork process. On top of that, the clutch master and slave cylinder both failed, and the starter bushing had been failing for some time and finally gave up the ghost, and did a number on the flywheel. I went with an aftermarket lightweight starter (which needed to be ground to clear the oil pressure sender, and dremel filed the mashed teeth on the flywheel. So far that's working fine. This also made it easier to clean up and polish the engine compartment on the right side with the carbs removed for access to the starter.
