The hardtuned 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT
Bodywork is messy and smelly, and I was at the point where the project needed to move forward. The goal was a decent driver-quality job, and I went with a shop that a friend had run about five cars through over the years with decent results. The plan was to leave the drivetrain in the car, as the engine compartment was the correct color with original paint. So I drove the car to the shop, and pulled the lights, and glass out on site. They pretty much kept to their estimate, but it wasn't their most efficient job - the first attempt at paint came out too rough to sand out. They admitted it immediately and stripped and primed it over. The second time was good, however during polishing the right front fender and door were scratched to bare metal, probably by someone walking by with a bumper, or parking another car too close. The right front corner was fixed and painted again, and finally completed.
