The hardtuned 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint Speciale
First line of business after fixing the fender was to procure a set of TZ1-Replica wheels. Upon arrival, one was bent, but Classic Alfa made good and sold me a 5th wheel at a discount, and I had the bent one straightened. After that, it went back to Conrad Stevenson's for setting the rideheight and cleaning up some loose and worn suspension pieces. New shocks, springs and a larger front swaybar were fitted, as well as dealing with worn tie-rod ends, refreshed the rear triangle bar and welded gussets on the rear axle to prevent the rear trailing arm attachments from tearing off. Also in the shot above, the XZL 777 plate was finaly legitimized after a year and a half of DMV backing and forthing and presenting DMV the info in a flow chart. (DMV lost my original transfer of title, which added some complexity.)
